Hilltops Posted January 21, 2023 ID:1550850 Share Posted January 21, 2023 I'm using MB premium 4.5.20.230 and received an exploit warning blocking the Dell Display Manager (DDM) app from trying to change the screensaver settings. There is no mention in the log file of the app but I know it was DDM because I was using it trying to configure the screensaver when MB blocked access and gave off the warning. I went into the MB settings to add DDM to the Allow List but couldn't find the right category under "Add an item to your Allow List."Logfile.txt
Porthos Posted January 21, 2023 ID:1550858 Share Posted January 21, 2023 Do you have this enabled? If so turn it off and leave it off.

Hilltops Posted January 21, 2023 Author ID:1550862 Share Posted January 21, 2023 That did it, Porthos! What's the downside of disabling this setting?
Porthos Posted January 21, 2023 ID:1550863 Share Posted January 21, 2023 Some Office exploit might run but this or turning off exploit protection completely before using Dell Display Manager is your only choice.
Hilltops Posted January 21, 2023 Author ID:1550864 Share Posted January 21, 2023 Yes, of course, I turn if off when I need to make changes with the Dell app and then turn it on again. Duh! Thanks for the quick and knowledgeable support, Porthos. Much appreciated!
