Move to iOS

Recommended Posts

Yesterday I used the move to iOS app to switch to a new mobile, transferring from my old Android mobile to a new iPhone.  Meanwhile, the malwarebytes app started automatically and alerting hundreds of malware detections, perhaps all the apps that were scanned.

Is it a known issue that malwarebytes starts up and falsely reports problems transferring data with this app?

There were no problems before the transfer and after reinstalling the malwarebytes app (after the transfer) I ran it again in my Android  and then suddenly there were no problems.

Does anyone recognize similar problems?  Wondering if this was real or fake. I have never had problems before, almost wish I never installed the Malwarebytes app. Now I am only worried and don't know how to get information about if this is true or false.

Hi @Groda,

Could I ask you to send Apps Report to see what is going on here?

To send an Apps Report with Malwarebytes for Android use the following instructions.

  1. Open the Malwarebytes for Android app.
  2. Tap the Menu icon.
  3. Tap Your apps.
  4. Tap three lines icon in upper right corner.
  5. Tap Send to support

Choose an email app to send Apps Report.

Your email app will open with the Apps Report included.

At this point, it would be very helpful to mention you are submitting via recommendation from the Malwarebytes forum.  This allows our support staff to know where to direct it.

By sending the Apps Report, you will create a ticket in our support system.

Private Message (PM) me the email used and/or the ticket number assigned.
