Notebooks freeze on boot if protection turned on

Recommended Posts

i installed MBAM on 10 Notebooks and got nearly the same error on every machine.

When i boot up the machines with protection enabled it wont get to a useable status.

Windows loads, you can log in, some programs start (MBAM too), but thats it.

You cant open the task manager, cant start a program or shutdown the system. It totaly freezes.

The only way to get the computers back to work is to disable the mbamservice in the recovery console.

McAfee Virusscan Enterprise is installed on all machines.

In the global policy all MBAM related files are excludes from beeing scaned.

I dont know where to start analyzing this failure.

Please send me a Private Message with your email account and your Cleverbridge purchase information and I'll look it up and assist you with this.

You can also send an email to corporate@malwarebytes.org but that goes directly to sales so it might take a while longer to get back to me in support.

If you were not the one who originally purchased the software then also please let me know the name and email address of the person who made the purchase.

Thank you.
