Browser Guard asks for additional permission

A few days ago a notification started showing up. It says that MB Browser Guard needs permission to exchanga data with a program other than Firefox. What is this program? Malwarebytes? Should I allow it?

It is a new permission to communicate with the installed Malwarebytes program.

The permission was optional up till now.  It allows Browser Guard and our anti malware product to communicate with one another.  This allows us to provide a better customer experience by allowing the products to work in sync with one another vs being unaware of one another.
