Samin Posted October 11, 2022 ID:1537380 Share Posted October 11, 2022 Hello, recently I have installed the malwarebytes web browser guard addon to my brave browser and just yesterday I accidentally entered a malicious website that was blocked by the guard. It was the aliexpress ad website (the one thats usually on the top of the browser after searching for it) and as i clicked on it the guard stopped me from entering it due to 'phishing'. The guard it says I was actually on was called 'shk.cx'' I now have 2 questions 1. Since the guard has already blocked me from entering the website, does it mean it will not affect my computer 2. Is this a false positive. Please let me know I have been worried for a while, Thanks Link to post

In fact, it probably shouldn't have been blocked but these shorten url services often get abused and redirect to phish pages. Edited October 12, 2022 by thisisu 2 Link to post
