Malware in my USB drive

Recommended Posts

I am using Dell Inspiration i5. Last week I visited a website and it automatically downloaded some malware in my system. My system and my external SSD drive are effected with It I removed this drive to safe my internal hard drive. My internal SSD is not effected with Melware I am not connecting external SSD with any system otherwise this melware can destroy my internal drive and it's data.

My question is that can I remove the virus from my external SSD drive  Samsung MZ-76E1T0B/AM with Malwarebytes without effecting my internal system storage?

If you're not really certain what you're doing then it's best to seek advice from a local computer shop.

Plugging in an infected USB drive alone can potentially infect a computer if the onboard real-time antivirus does not block it.
