Malwarebytes Antivirus Support

Our software got wrong detected by Malwarebytes - Malware.Heuristic.1003 on Virus Total by the command line scanner, We are using the .exe as an updater and runner of our Java code, which is delivered together with the .exe.

We assume that it got detected because we used a obfuscator to obfuscate the code, we hope you guys can investigate our software and concludes that it doesn't meet the virus classification.

Below a documented brief explanation about our software application.

SocialMediaBot.exe Virus Total report: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/9c887698412f169254e86d0e42bdc6e54c376cc6205accb398140af417ac1e37/detection

Social Media Bot Info:
1. Main Program Language: Java
2 Executable Language:  C#
3. Executable Name: SocialMediaBot.exe
4. Executable Version: 5.0.0.0
5. Java Software Version: 5.3.10
6. Official source website: https://dimensionbots.com/socialmediabot.php

SocialMediaBot Functionality:
The Social Media Bot from Dimension Bots is a bot program that performs automated actions on Social Exchange Sites.
(Example ytmonster.net) Users can setup the bot program to performing automatic actions and the profit they derive from this are Points,
with which they can promote their Social Media.

Explanation of the code in the .exe file:
We are using the .exe as an updater and runner of our Java code, which is delivered together with the .exe. As Java code is quite difficult to obfuscate and protect from reverse engineering, we added some protection layers on top of it. - (We can't provide more info here as this forum is open source.)

(Note that all this code is just added to make it more difficult for people to reverse engineer and steal our code.)

The attached file is not detected by the consumer or commercial versions of Malwarebytes.

The engine format and configuration in VirusTotal is different than the consumer and corporate products’ default configuration. In VirusTotal Malwarebytes uses a command-line engine with different configuration and detection techniques/heuristics which might detect more than the commercial product. There are also false-positive suppression mechanisms in the commercial product which are not present in the command-line engine in VirusTotal.

This will eventually fix itself in Virustotal as well, as Malwarebytes has no control over this. Virus Total is having trouble reaching Malwarebytes cloud.
