Malwarebytes blocking outbound connections

Hello there. I think the issue has been resolved but I wanted to bring this up anyway just in case. Malware bytes started flagging up outbound connections everytime I opened any browser. This included Firefox, Chrom and Edge. Whenever I would access any site, even Google, it would block one from different IP's. I noticed that my MB needed updating. Updated it and used Farbar Recovery to scan and fix. Doing that seemed to stop the blocks completely and I could access any website again. To be safe, did a full scan using WD and a quick normal scan with MB. Found nothing. I also scanned using MB's AdwCleaner. It found one file and removed it, a PUP called WoW678 or something. I did download a game from a website a bit ago but originally when I'd downloaded it, nothing flagged up, even when I scanned the exe with MB and WD. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello @Wingman

We did have a False Positive today that affected all sites connected to Google. That has been resolved.

Try restarting your computer and if you're still having any issues, please let me know.

Thank you

That explains things. Yeah, the alerts stopped after I'd updated Malwarebytes to the newest version and restarted my PC. Thanks for the info! Cleared it up perfectly.
