Maybe this is the wrong place to ask or this has already been answered, and if so, I apologize.

I have heard about "Tronscript", and while it isn't the type of thing I'd run on my system, I was curious if it actually was effective or if it just broke systems it was ran on (or if it was malware).

Here's it's GitHub page: hxxpx://github[.]com/bmrf/tron#use

It can work but is overkill and modifies registry and permissions that in my opinion are not good. It can also take overnight for some systems to run.

If you cannot clean an infection easily and need to run something like that then just save the time and do the right thing. Back up your data and reinstall Windows cleanly.

Just curious (if I ever need to reinstall in the future), how can I keep/reinstall the Dell firmware update Windows app & other Dell preinstalled apps when reinstalling while removing any malware?
