Has anyone seen these files appear on their system

Recommended Posts

I just seen these files in task manger they got created yesterday and I don't think they are malicious because I do scans with Malwarebytes and windows defender and I'm careful with what I download, and both the anti-viruses are really good from what I've heard but I'm not 100% sure yet, has anyone seen files like these before that randomly appear?

Hello @Warzone_Pro and :welcome:

We would need the actual files to look at and see what they do. Can you zip and upload?

Let us also get some other logs to see what is going on with your system.

To begin, please do the following so that we may take a closer look at your installation for troubleshooting:

NOTE: The tools and the information obtained are safe and not harmful to your privacy or your computer, please allow the programs to run if blocked by your system.

  • Download the Malwarebytes Support Tool
  • In your Downloads folder, open the mb-support-x.x.x.xxx.exe file
  • In the User Account Control pop-up window, click Yes to continue the installation
  • Run the MBST Support Tool
  • In the left navigation pane of the Malwarebytes Support Tool, click Advanced
  • In the Advanced Options, click Gather Logs. A status diagram displays the tool is Getting logs from your machine
  • A zip file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to your desktop, please upload that file on your next reply

Thank you

This is a update, I think they might've appeared after a cumulative update Preview for windows 10 because I'm looking at creation date and it's about the same time I downloaded the update and also ran the files threw virus total not a single flag I think I'm in the safe zone. My system is also running normally like usual. sorry if I wasted your time I should've done more research before posting.
