Hello.

Malwarebytes through chrome is suddenly blocking .zip file downloads on my site, vidiotschannel.com. The site & files are hosted on HOSTEK servers & have been for 12 consecutive years.

I am hoping you can stop these false positives readings as soon as possible.

Thank you in advance for help you may be able to provide in this matter.

Hello,

Can you please provide a log or screenshot of the detection?

Thanks

Thank you for responding so promptly. Unfortunately I clicked allow & do not block & didn't think about what I was doing until after. I now find chrome itself is saying the file (& others) can not be downloaded securely. So unless Malwarebytes detects in chrome beyond the add-on & you have no suggestions, I may need to ask HOSTEK support can help on their end of things. If so, can we keep the thread alive until I have an answer and report back within a reasonable time? Thanks again!

Here's what I've been able to find out so far. Neither, Mozilla, Edge or Safari have a problem downloading the files. This seems to be only a problem with Chrome & Malwarebytes. The same files in the same server location can be downloaded on chrome without issue from another site mystockfx.com (also on Hostek) but Malwarebytes still finds issue. image.thumb.png.5b7a4b2c84c06afd3af0b0162a57fc54.png

This is a browser guard exclusive block and was triggered because it is coming from a HTTP site not an HTTPS site.

Staff can whitelist when they return to the topic if there are no other issues.

The site has been whitelisted. Please allow 15-30 minutes for changes to take effect. Sorry for the inconvenience.
