They could ping their DNS server's IP address, but couldn't ping the local domain (company.local) and couldn't get DNS to translate the local domain into an IP address. AlexLeadingEdge Posted August 28, 2022 Author ID:1530360 Share Posted August 28, 2022 Hi AdvancedSetup, Yes, I did that also :) They say that Malwarebytes is most likely negatively interacting with dns.exe, but this doesn't explain why pinging 8.8.8.8 stops as well.
