If this is true, then that function maybe should not be enabled on initial install as it was when I installed V5. Maybe I'm missing something as to why you would want it registered but both my home PC's running V4 have it turned off and everything in the Windows Security Center looks good. Let me rephrase this: What is the best way to configure this option? If On is the answer then disregard this suggestion. We do continue to work with Windows Defender and allow the user the choice if they only want to run Malwarebytes or if they want to run both. So, just like all other antivirus solutions, by default we do register as the main application.
