Please note that there has been an increase in the amount of fake renewal emails being received by customers.

Verify subscription renewal email is legitimate

Malwarebytes sends subscription renewal notification emails 30 days prior to the expiration date. In some cases, we send additional reminders 15 and 7 days before expiration. These emails are sent by either Cleverbridge or 2Checkout, our trusted PCI-compliant payment processors.

Renewal emails are sent from the following addresses:

  •     no-reply@mail.malwarebytes.com
  •     noreply@e.malwarebytes.com
  •     noreply@t.malwarebytes.com

If a Malwarebytes email appears to be illegitimate or a scam, do not click on any links or reply to the message. Instead, contact our support team.

For more information on how to identify a phishing email attempt and protect yourself against it, you can check our blog post All about phishing.
