"CreateProcess failed; code 2. The system cannot find file specified"

This is the error message I receive in a window labeled "Setup". It says it's unable to execute file: C:\Program Files/Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware/mbam.exe

I uninstalled it in case the install was corrupt, and tried to delete the file out of the program files folder, but I get an error message saying, "Cannot delete mbamext.dll: Acciss is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use."

I'm having terrible problems with the Artemis! trojan and popups, so I wanted to run Malwarebytes.

I also can't update my Windows Defender program. It has an error code of 0x80070422.

I also tried to install Multi Virus Cleaner 2009 and that won't install either.

Greetings  .

If you're having trouble getting Malwarebytes' and other tools to update or run please review the following tutorials and see if they are helpful:

If you aren't able to use those instructions or there are other issues then please follow the instructions here:

And post your logs in a new topic here:

Please be sure not to install any software or use any removal or scanning tools except those that you are

instructed to by the expert who will be assisting you as doing so can make their job much more difficult.

note: if for some reason you are unable to run some or any of the tools in the first link, then skip that step and move on to the next one.

If you can't even run HijackThis, then just post here: Malware Removal - HijackThis Logs describing your issues and an expert will reply with further instructions.
