If I set to ignore once when will the scan re-detect it?

I think I got a false positive as it was picking up a Microsoft Windows file, so I selected to ignore it once.

I then updated Malwarebytes to the latest version and did a re-scan and it didn't detect that file again. I also did 3 other scans and none detected it.

So can I assume that the false positive has been removed from the updated Malwarebytes version as its not detecting it anymore?

Can you submit a log of that detection or upload the detected file to https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/upload and send us that link?

Hi Spud,

I copied the file to virustotal and it came back as undetected by all the vendors.

I'll attach the detection log.

It's not being detected when I run scans now. But I was wondering if its being scanned now since I pressed the Ignore Once button when it first got detected in a previous version.

Yes this was a fp and was fixed with the update.
