Hello @Kosi First, you should be able to uninstall that program ( if that is your goal) right there while in Programs and Features module of Control Panel.

To scan for potential malware:

Malwarebytes for Windows  can detect and remove most malware with no further actions required for free.
Since it does not appear that this machine has it, go and install Malwarebytes for Windows.
See https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038479134-Download-and-install-Malwarebytes-for-Windows

After the setup has completed, run a Threat Scan, open Malwarebytes for Windows and click the blue Scan button.

Then, locate the Scan run report;  export out a copy;  & then attach in with your  reply.

Did you notice the lines with

Quote

No Action By User

on the Malwarebytes report? We need you to do a new scan & be extra super-sure to TICK all detected items for Quarantine.

There are P U P, & adwares, & a "hacktool" that need to be removed to Quarantine.

Start a new Scan with Malwarebytes.

When the scan phase is done, be real sure you Review and have all detected lines items check-marked on each line on the left. That too is very critical.

>>>>>>      👉      You can actually click the topmost left  check-box  on the very top line to get ALL lines  ticked   ( all selected).         <<<<     💢

Please double verify you have that TOP  check-box tick marked.   and that then, all lines have a tick-mark

Then click on Quarantine  button.

Then, locate the Scan run report;  export out a copy;  & then attach in with your  reply.

  • Solution

It is a good thing to see the report from Malwarebytes indicating no malware.
If you wish to Uninstall Great Discover you ought to be able to use Control Panel of Windows to do so.
1. Press & hold  the Windows key on keyboard & then tap the R key   to open the Run box-window.
2. Type

appwiz.cpl

and tap Enter.
The Programs and Features window will appear.   Locate on the list "Great Discover".

Do a right-click on it.  Then choose Uninstall.   Let it proceed.

Exit Programs and Features, when done.
Now do a Windows Restart.
