Freezing, Buzz Sound. When playing a game.

Recommended Posts

Hello. Today I need help with my computer. While playing a game named Rust after a couple of minutes my game freezes and makes a buzz sound for 2-3 seconds then it fixes it self. But, I can't talk until I restart Discord. I checked my event viewer, and their are a lot of errors when i'm playing the game.

I have a video of it happening, but the video doesn't show the buzz sound because my record didn't capture it. But here you go.

Not sure. You recently went through a scan and cleaning process not long ago. If that didn't really help, you might want to consider doing a clean install of Windows

hello, I got this system 3 months ago. I haven't cleaned it out. But firefox, I don't think it's mandatory to restart windows to fix this issue.

Reason: A lot of people are having this problem just not me. Do you think I should wait for the developers to fix this problem?

Yes, that is what I told you above. If it were all games, all applications then yes reinstalling Windows would help. But if it only happens on that one game and the developer is aware of it, then wait for them to fix it.

This specific game uses huge amounts of RAM. Try to reduce multi-tasking as much as possible and see if that helps with the issue. If reducing multitasking to minimum indeed helps with the problem

a)play that way

b)get more ram

I assume you probably have 16 GB RAM. And you may even think that the game having bad and oldgen graphics, you would not think it would use a lot of RAM. But it does, I know it from a specific friend of mine. The game has unoptimized code, which devs are aware. Most people have 16 GB RAM, which in turn, becomes a problematic situation for most people, naturally.

I also noticed you're using Nvidia's Geforce Experience, and I would like to say that that software itself is a huge RAM/VRAM/resource hog.  Try to reduce the memory footprint by turning of such software to see if it helps with your issue. Then you can assess whether you would need more RAM or not.
