Is this a sign of infection or is it Normal?

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I have a quick question. When I open task-manager by cpu goes to 50-100 then when it fully loads in its like at 3-30 when im running a game. When idling its at 1. What my question is Is it normal for cpu to go up for a quick second when launching task-manager? I read it is, but just making sure from exports!

Yes, it is very normal. Taskmanager itself when you start it is consuming resources. Then it needs to scan and read ALL processes to tell you what is loaded.

Please see the following

CPU Usage always at 70%+ until task manager is open

Known web pages not going to where they should and being redirected to another page.

Applications or alerts or window popups out of the blue

In general, most people have a feel for how their computer normally works, so when it starts acting differently then it's a sign that one should start looking into why it's acting differently. It may not be an infection but you want to check and make sure.
