Prorating Subscriptions

I recently took a job as Director of IT. Right before i started Malwarebytes renewed.

I decided I wanted to switch to a different product so i called and was told that Malwarebytes would not refund my money for the 8 or 9 months I haven't used.

What a poor business decision, I might have considered coming back after i tried something else, but now, no way.

I'm not knocking the product, just the customer service.

Dealing with them has not be a happy experience.

Am I wrong, is there something I'm missing?
