Malwarebytes stuck on 5% download

Im trying to install Malwarebytes but its stuck on 5% and fails. I have no other antivirus other than the default Windows Defender. I've tried it with my Firewall turned off but that still didnt help.

Any ideas?

I used the other installer so no need to comment

I'm having the same problem. Installer fails at 5%. How did you end up installing it?

Ah after trying 10 times it finally installed. Strange.

If you're still having an issue you can try the following.

 

Please try the following. Open an Elevated Admin command prompt and copy and paste the following and press the Enter key. You should get a success message.

reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip6\Parameters" /v "DisabledComponents" /t REG_DWORD /d 32 /f

Then restart the computer and try activating the program again.

This will set the IP preference to use IPV4 instead of IPV6 as recommended by Microsoft without actually disabling IPV6
