I had a customer send me a picture showing that our company website impacsystems.com is being 'blocked' by malwarebytes Browser guard.

I am unsure why this is occurring, we had issues in the past that malware had gotten into the wordpress site but this was 9+ months ago, and this suddenly appeared within the past week or so, as far as i know.

I checked the site with virus total and found nothing,

also used google transparency report and found nothing.

only thing i found was the IP address is on 2 blocklists on MXtoolbox blocklist check, however no other website hosted on this IP seem to be blocked with Browser Guard. I suspect they pulled some crazy old block lists when we had the malware on it for a couple days.

Hi,

Yes it was due to this link: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/8dce1d71e6fa06801302263dcc63288d789ee108a20182e3192a705a676a0ff3

I'm unblocking it now for you since it's 404.

Regards

Shoot! thank ya for this heads up!

Interesting i ran virustotal on just the impacsystems.com yesterday it was clean, now today i see 2 sites marking it as 'malicious' .

I see the link you provided goes to a specific file in the wordpress site, is there a way to have virustotal 'scan' the site beyond just the 1st page loaded? i am concerned because that link says it was from 4 months ago and the last 'known' issue we had was much further back than that.
