Ever since some update ago I am not able to connect at all.

What exactly do you mean by not connect?

You log shows both Malwarebytes products are licensed and activated.

Malwarebytes Premium is out of date though.

Sorry for being unclear. Somehow I managed to post in this subforum instead of the intended one. My issue is with malwarebytes privacy, not with malware.

I'll make a new post in the correct subforum instead. Feel free to lock or delete this thread.

Lets do a clean uninstall and reinstall of all Malwarebytes products with the support tool

Lets use the same support tool and do a clean uninstall and reinstall.

Please close all browsers and programs before running the tool. Right click and quit MB from the system tray also.

Once done it will attempt to reinstall both Malwarebytes and Privacy VPN.

I first used the support tool to do a clean removal and then did a reinstallation of malwarebytes.

However, I am not able to activate my licence - neither by signing in to my premium account, nor by using my licence key, nor by using the malwarebytes assistant. In all three cases I recieved an error message stating 'unable to contact licence server'. I'll try again with the assistant using a different browser.

Please get me new logs and we'll see what we can find @mmm12

To begin, please do the following so that we may take a closer look at your installation for troubleshooting:

NOTE: The tools and the information obtained are safe and not harmful to your privacy or your computer, please allow the programs to run if blocked by your system.

  • Download the Malwarebytes Support Tool
  • In your Downloads folder, open the mb-support-x.x.x.xxx.exe file
  • In the User Account Control pop-up window, click Yes to continue the installation
  • Run the MBST Support Tool
  • In the left navigation pane of the Malwarebytes Support Tool, click Advanced
  • In the Advanced Options, click Gather Logs. A status diagram displays the tool is Getting logs from your machine
  • A zip file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to your desktop, please upload that file on your next reply

Thank you
