I've attempted to install Malwarebytes 3x. Each time it says :Your system needs to restart to complete intalation. I restart and there's no sign of your product. Please help.

I'm sorry the software isn't working properly but we'll do our best to help.

To begin, Please do the following so that we may take a closer look at your installation for troubleshooting:

NOTE: The tools and the information obtained is safe and not harmful to your privacy or your computer, please allow the programs to run if blocked by your system.

  • Download the Malwarebytes Support Tool
  • In your Downloads folder, open the mb-support-x.x.x.xxx.exe file
  • In the User Account Control pop-up window, click Yes to continue the installation
  • Run the MBST Support Tool
  • In the left navigation pane of the Malwarebytes Support Tool, click Advanced
  • In the Advanced Options, click Gather Logs. A status diagram displays the tool is Getting logs from your machine
  • A zip file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to your desktop, please upload that file on your next reply

Thanks

Did you recently update to Windows 11?

The system is having multiple issues and tasks are not working correctly. Dell software is trying to install and update and it too keeps failing.

We may be able to clean up the computer and repair it but you might want to consider backing up all your personal data to an external drive and then doing a factory restore.

Please let me know how you'd like to proceed. As I said, we might be able to get it fixed up and running but Windows will not be as clean as a factory restore would make it.
