Hi,

I would appreciate if you could investigate the following issue I am encountering.

The website in question is: wclovers.com

I've searched your forum and cannot find any other related posts.

When I try and access using firefox or chrome Malwarebytes pops up indicating website blocked due to Trojan

It also indicates in the Firefox browser:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to wclovers.com. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.

I've included some of the Malwarebytes history and please let me knwo if you require more information.

I've tried to contact the owner of the website but not had a response to date.

History logs and Firefox report:-

-Website Data-
Category: Trojan
Domain: wclovers.com
IP Address: 35.203.163.32
Port: 443
Type: Outbound
File: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to wclovers.com. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.

Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem.

Also happens in chrome

Please let me know if you require any further information or testing.

Hi,

Apologies, I also meant to add:-

1 Currently I cannot identify if this is a FP. Therefore I'm not keen to add as an exclusion.

2. I am carrying out some further investigation using a 'closed' device that will allow me to check some the scripts/code and once I have this information I'll report back.

3. Also if I hear back from the site owner I will post this as well.

Many thanks for your support.

Regards

StepB
