Scam email?

I got an email that looks like below.  I am not signed up with google for the x.xx@domain.net email account and I have never used google groups.  I looked on google groups and do not see a group with the name given.  I do not recognize the email of the person that added me to the group either.  This looks like a scam email but I have done a search and have not seen this reported anywhere.

Has anyone seen this before?

Just delete it and ignore it.
