False Positive: cdbxp_setup_4.5.8.7128_minimal.exe - PUP.Optional.OpenCandy

Hello everyone,

can someone help me in whitelisting CDBurnerXP in its latest version?
The setup file is flagged as OpenCandy, but when open installer I can't find any PUP / OpenCandy in it. I use this program for years now and the neither the tool nor the setup gives me any other impression of than everything is serious.
And the program wasn't changed since years. So why this should be evil suddenly in newer version of Malwarebytes?

I do not have a detection in the consumer version of Malwarebytes on the file.

Do you have a log showing the detection?

You can find Scan and Protection logs within the Malwarebytes 4 program in the following location

 

 

RTP stands for Real-Time Protection and is where automatic protection operations would normally be logged

 

 

If you click on the View option you should get something similar to the following with other options available.

@Porthos: Here is the requested log fileLogMBAM.txt

I can't find PUP / OpenCandy in installer (no optional or additional components, no ads, no toolbar or search engine, no prompt for donation and no additonal shortcuts).
If this alert should be true, the PUP isn't recognized by me.
