Register with mbam.exe

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I install Malewarbytes 4.5.7 remote.

I'v used silent install for MBsetup.exe.
Works great. But how can I register to Premium?

%ProgramFiles%\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware\mbam.exe with Arguments : /register (for example, /register 12345-67890 AAAA-BBBB-CCCC-DDDD)
doesn't work.

Best regards

Why would you be installing remotely?

This is a Consumer version of the product and does not support command line features like that for many years now.

If this is a business we have other versions of the program you should be using

Thanks

Can you tell me wich one?

In PDF with the License I found this link: https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mbes_for_business
In thi
s file there are AntiRansomware, AntiExploid, AntiRootkit and AntiMalware which included in  Malewarbytes 4.5.7.

So I think it's easier to deploy Malwarebytes (this is working) and register it after that.

Are these business computers and are any of them running a server OS?

Are there more than 10 workstations?

Please see the following

https://www.malwarebytes.com/business/solutions/small-business

Recommended for 1 to 9 computers is Teams which is very similar to the Consumer version you have but includes differences in Support and your My Account entries.

Recommended if you have more than 10 computers is Malwarebytes Endpoint Protection

For ten or less you can continue to use the Consumer version but it does not provide any type of reporting or automation into a central database

I have Malwarebytes Endpoint Security 1.9.1.0034 here.
Here are AntiRansomware, AntiExploid, AntiRootkit and AntiMalware as seperatly files, that I have to activate remotely also.

How can I do that?

I would highly suggest that you open a support ticket with Business Support to work with them directly.

Submit Support Ticket

It can take a few days for a response as ticket volume is high at this time.
