Speedie Posted April 5, 2022 ID:1509894 Share Posted April 5, 2022 We've had a couple of regular visitors report that MWB is blocking hxxps://cdn.joggles.com as "it may contain malware activity". This is odd as the site is clean and always has been (fully scanned daily and changed files scanned in realtime by Imunify360 on the server), and it is only access to the cdn hostname that is blocked, they are able to see www without any issues. Additionally cdn is simply an alias of www that runs through Akamai's CDN to serve static assets i.e. images, CSS and JS files. We have tested with one of those customers and they can access (pseudo-URL) hxxps://www.joggles.com/someimage.jpg or hxxps://www.joggles.com/somefile.css without issue, but if they switch hostname to cdn for the same file then it's blocked. The only conclusion we can draw is that perhaps one or more Akamai edge servers are blocked?
