Hello.    :welcome:  @Blacky

My name is Maurice.  I will guide you.  Let me know what name you prefer to go by.  Help on this forum is one-to-one.  Just post a reply as we go alog.

I will guide you along on looking for potential malware. Lets keep these principles as we go along.

  • Removing malware can be unpredictable
  • Please don't run any other scans, download, install or uninstall any programs while I'm working with you.
  • Only run the tools I guide you to.
  • Do not run online games while case is on-going. Do not do any free-wheeling web-surfing.
  • The removal of malware isn't instantaneous, please be patient.
  • Please stick with me until I give you the "all clear".
  • Cracked or or hacked or pirated programs are not only illegal, but also will make a computer a malware victim. Having such programs installed, is the easiest way to get infected. It is the leading cause of ransomware encryptions. It is at times also big source of current trojan infections. Please uninstall them now, if any are here, before we start the cleaning procedure.

  • Please look on the Windows Taskbar and be sure system has the correct local Time , and the correct local Timezone and the correct current month, day and year. The first thing I need is to get a set of  these reports & logs.

  • Please  set File Explorer to SHOW ALL folders, all files, including Hidden ones.  Use OPTION ONE or TWO of this article

Malwarebytes for Windows  can detect and remove most malware with no further actions required for free.
Since it does not appear that this machine has it, go and install Malwarebytes for Windows.
See https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038479134-Download-and-install-Malwarebytes-for-Windows

After the setup has completed, run a Threat Scan, open Malwarebytes for Windows and click the blue Scan button.

Then, locate the Scan run report;  export out a copy;  & then attach in with your  reply.
See https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038479194-View-Reports-and-History-in-Malwarebytes-for-Windows-v4

To send  ( upload)   attachments please click the "ADD Files"  link . Then browse to where your file is located and select it and click the Open button.

Please always attach reports as we go along.

There will be lots more to do after this. Stick with me.

Thank you. In order to begin to help you properly, I will need a diagnostic report in order to review & diagnose.
Specifically the FRST Farbar diagnostic report.  It is safe to get & use. Be very sure you SAVE it first.
https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039025013-Run-Farbar-Recovery-Scan-Tool-to-gather-logs

Attach FRST.txt + Addition.txt with your reply.  You may if you wish, ZIP the 2 into a zip file & then attach.
{ just please do not copy, paste their contents in main body of reply box here.)

Tell me which version of ESET is on this machine. Tell me if the scan with ESET reported any virus, trojan, or other form of malware.

Be very sure to Save any work-files you have open at this point. Close & Save any open edits, if any. Next, a custom script to do  checks & some  cleanups.

We will use FRST64  on the Desktop folder   to run a custom script.    The system will be rebooted after the script has run.

This custom script is for  Blacky  only / for this machine only.

This custom script has some specific things, plus some general aspect to help the system overall.  Hoping it will not exceed 60 minutes in execute time.

NOTE-1:  This script will  run a scan using System File Checker to check that all Microsoft operating system files are valid and not corrupt and attempt to correct any invalid files. .  It will rebuild the Winsock.

NOTE-2: It will attempt to do 1 quick scan with Microsoft Defender antivirus. It will attempt to remove restrictions ( if any ) on Microsoft Defender. It will attempt to boost protections of MS Defender.

NOTE-3: As part of this fix all temporary files will be removed. If you have any open web pages that have not been bookmarked please make sure you bookmark them now as all open applications will be automatically closed.

The following directories are emptied:

  • Windows Temp
  • Users Temp folders
  • Edge, IE, FF, Chrome,  and Opera  & BRAVE caches, HTML5 storages, Cookies and History
  • Recently opened files cache
  • Flash Player cache
  • Java cache
  • Steam HTML cache
  • Explorer thumbnail and icon cache
  • Recycle Bin

Important: items are permanently deleted. They are not moved to quarantine. If you have any questions or concerns please ask before running this fix.

  •
  • Please be sure to Close any open work files, documents,  any apps you started yourself  before starting this.

  • If there are any CD / DVD / or USB-flash-thumb or USB-storage drives attached,  please disconnect any of those.
  • Please save the (attached file named) FIXLIST.txt   to the   Desktop   folder

Fixlist.txt             <<< - - - - -

Then, Start the Windows Explorer and then, go  to the Desktop   folder.

RIGHT click on FRST64    and select RUN as Administrator and allow it to proceed.  Reply YES when prompted to allow to run.
to run the tool. If the tool warns you the version is outdated, please download and run the updated version.
IF Windows prompts you about running this, select YES to allow it to proceed.

  • IF you get a block message from Windows about this tool......

click line More info information on that screen
and click button Run anyway on next screen.

  • on the FRST window:

Click the Fix button just once, and wait.

frst-fix.jpg.f6a25291b39a03d418acc9a3b7136900.jpg

PLEASE have lots and lots of patience when this starts. You will see a green progress bar start. Lots of patience.
If you receive a message that a reboot is required, please make sure you allow it to restart normally.
The tool will complete its run after restart.
When finished, the tool will make a log ( Fixlog.txt) in the same location from where it was run.

Please attach the FIXLOG.txt with your next reply later, at your next opportunity.

NOTE: I did not see "banggood" listed as a search engine setting ob Chrome browser. Stick with me. There will be more to do after this.

The MS Defender real-time protections are still off. I think there are a layer of different  issues here.
What do you know about these apps?

C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS\ArmouryDevice\asus_framework.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS\ArmouryDevice\AsusInstallVerifier.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\LightingService\LightingService.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Razer\Razer Services\Razer Central\RazerCentralService.exe

also, why is Controlled Folder Access on ?
why are these listed C:\Program Files (x86)
C:\Windows

under Controlled Folder Access ?
Can you please see about removing ( turning off) all Controlled Folder Access ?
See https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/113380-how-enable-disable-controlled-folder-access-windows-10-a.html

Do not try to do changes or adjustmnent on your own. If you have questions, ask me first. I suppose you were maybe trying to follow the article I cited.

and please do not attempt to reinstall "asus" stuff.   Lets leave things where they are for now. I must run an errand. I will be out for a few hours. Will get back with you later.

@Blacky Lets do this special scan as a next step.

The Microsoft Safety Scanner is a free Microsoft stand-alone virus scanner that can be used to scan for & remove malware or potentially unwanted software from a system.

The download links & the how-to-run-the tool are at this link at Microsoft

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security/threat-protection/intelligence/safety-scanner-download

Look on Scan Options & select FULL scan.

Then start the scan. Have lots of patience. It may take several hours.

  • Once you see it has started, take a long long break;  walk away.  Do not pay credence if you see some intermediate early flash messages on screen display.  The only things that count are the End result at the end of the run.

Let me know the result of this.    This is likely to run for many hours   ( depending on number of files on your machine & the speed of hardware.)

The log is named MSERT.log

the log will be at

Windows\debug\msert.log

Please attach that log with your reply.

  • Solution

At the initial start of the case you had noted

I instal eset anti virus for temporary protection

Once you had installed the ESET Security, then MS Defender would have been turned off. That is normal & expected & how things work. Now at this point, if you are done with the trial of ESET Security then you should Uninstall ESET Security.

1. Press & hold  the Windows key on keyboard & then tap the R key   to open the Run box-window.
2. Type

Quote

appwiz.cpl

and tap Enter.
The Programs and Features window will appear.   Locate on the list "ESET Security"

Do a right-click on it.  Then choose Uninstall.   Let it proceed.

Close Control Panel window on Programs & Features.

[  2  ]

Folow that by getting & saving & later running the ESET Uninstall tool Download the ESET Uninstaller

Run the tool. Insure that it finishes.

[  3  ]

Restart Windows

then check up on MS Defender antivirus.

[  4   Do a custom scan with Microsoft Defender Antivirus ]

Just want to do a visual check in Windows Security to see (visually) that Microsoft Defender is on , and to do a Custom scan.

From the Windows Start menu, select Settings, then select Update and Security.

Next, look at the left-side menu & select Windows Security

Next, In Windows Security section: Click on the grey button Open Windows Security

Now, click on the shield Virus and threat protection

Look to see that Microsoft Defender is shown & available for use.

On the next display, look at all the options.  Look down the list and see "Check for Updates" .

You should click on that to have the system check for updates for Windows Defender.  Watch & wait for that to complete.

Please also note that the Scan options (all) can be displayed by clicking on Scan options.   Click that & select CUSTOM scan & then pick the C drive  & have it go forward.

Once it has started the scan phase, you can go take a long break.   Let me know the results.

I am very glad that the MS Defender scan found no threats.  IMHO, yes I would say that Windows 11 would be better for your machine. Bravo that they show that this machine qualifies. When you do accespt the upgrade, be sure first that You EXIT out of all your open apps & any open work.

NOTE: A failure on a Windows 11 upgrade attempt can happen on any machine. That failure is NOT due to malware at all.
and do keep in mind, that Windows 11 does have some serious hardware & software requirements.
The following may be helpful. In any event, it is a good idea to run.

NOTE-1:  This script will  "attempt" to turn off controlled folder access, plus, to clear the Windows Update work-area. Hoping this helps.
