Hello. Thank you.

One other action:  Malwarebytes for Windows  can detect and remove most malware with no further actions required for free.
Since it does not appear that this machine has it, go and install Malwarebytes for Windows.
See https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038479134-Download-and-install-Malwarebytes-for-Windows

After the setup has completed, first, make sure to Exit Chrome browser, Edge browser, and any other web browser before you press 'scan'

run a Threat Scan, open Malwarebytes for Windows and click the blue Scan button.

Then, locate the Scan run report;  export out a copy;  & then attach in with your  reply.

It is actually quite good that Malwarebytes for Windows reports no malware on-board. What there may exist is some very obscure leftover reference to registrovisure.it some place on the Windows registry, possibly linked to Chrome or a version of Chrome.

Take these actions so that Windows 11 is set to show all hidden files and folders.

  • Open File Explorer of Windows 11 from the taskbar.
  • Select View > Show > Hidden items.

next, There is a search tool that we will use to look for references of "registrovisure.it"
Please download SystemLook (64-bit) by jpshortstuff and save it to your desktop

Right-click SystemLook_x64.exe and select Run as Administrator to start the tool.

  • If prompted by Windows , please allow it  to run.  Reply YES to allow to proceed.
  • If you receive an "Open file - security warning"... asking "Do you want to run this file?", press the Run button.

COPY & paste the entire text ( all )  into the main text box of SystemLook:

:regfind
registrovisure.it

Click the Look button to start the scan
When finished, a notepad window will open with the results of the scan.
A file will be created (on the same folder where you saved SystemLook with the results of the scan, named SystemLook.txt
Please attach  this log in your next reply.

That search did not find a mention of

registrovisure.it

I would suggest to just make these general adjustments.

for Chrome, while Chrome is running:
Press & hold SHIFT+CTRL+Del keys  on keyboard to get menu for clearing browsing data:

Check mark the line  "Browsing history"

Check mark the line "Download history"

Check mark the lined "Cached images and files"
and press Clear Data button  ( in blue )

[   2   ]

After that, make real sure that Chrome is "NOT" set to reload the pages from the last session

Go into the settings menu of Chrome by first clicking  the control icon of Chrome on upper right of the adress bar

Then look deeper in SETTINGS

Make real sure it is "NOT" set to "continue where you left off"

See this article on our Malwarebytes Blog
https://blog.malwarebytes.com/security-world/technology/2019/01/browser-push-notifications-feature-asking-abused/

You want to disable the ability of each web browser on this machine from being able to allow "push ads". That means Chrome, Firefox, or Edge browser (on Windows 10), or on Opera.

Scroll down to the tips section "How do I disable them".

Let me suggest that you get your browsers each, as applicable, to have the Malwarebytes Browser Guard.

See Support article how-to

https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038520374-Install-Malwarebytes-Browser-Guard

For Firefox, get the Firefox extension.
The Windows EDGE browser is capable of using the same extension as the Chrome one.
Note: If your pc also has Opera or Brave or Vivaldi browser, you can install the Chrome version of the Malwarebytes Browser Guard ( on each as appropriate).

Good morning.

Lags & "slow system", it ought to be pointed out, can simply be indicators that normal pc housekkeping needs to be done.  Things like emptying out all browsers' cache files & temporary files.  Maybe the disk has got lots of trash files that slow it down. Perhaps its also a good time to make sure that Windows is fully up to date with Microsoft Updates.  Also, all applications should be checked to see they have latest security updates.

The built-in Windows "CLEANMGR" applet is a good one to help to delete temporary files & the likes.

Next to do

This will be a check with ESET Onlinescanner for viruses, other malware, adwares, & potentially unwanted applications.

Go to https://download.eset.com/com/eset/tools/online_scanner/latest/esetonlinescanner.exe

It will start a download of "esetonlinescanner.exe"

  • Save the file to your system, such as the Downloads folder, or else to the Desktop.
  • Go to the saved file, and double click it to get it started.

  • When presented with the initial ESET options, click on "Computer Scan".
  • Next, when prompted by Windows, allow it to start by clicking Yes
  • When prompted for scan type, Click on Full scan

Look at & tick ( select ) the radio selection "Enable ESET to detect and quarantine potentially unwanted applications" and click on Start scan button.

  • Have patience. The entire process may take an hour or more. There is an initial update download.

There is a progress window display. You may step away from machine &. Let it be.  That is, once it is under way, you should leave it running.  It will run for several hours.

  • At screen "Detections occured and resolved" click on blue button "View detected results"
  • On next screen, at lower left, click on blue "Save scan log"
  • View where file is to be saved. Provide a meaningful name for the "File name:"
  • On last screen, set to Off (left) the option for Periodic scanning
  • Click "save and continue"
  • Please attach the report file so I can review

N.B. Please look on the Windows Taskbar and be sure system has the correct local Time , and the correct local Timezone and the correct current month, day and year.
