Are you running v1.1?  Could you please share the debug logs?

Still crashes on that version ( 1.0.12) tho not as much as older versions, @gonzohas the recent crash log I shared with them.

I uninstalled it because it kept crashing. I'm using it on Vivaldi with no problems. Must be a WebKit incompatibility. Where would the logs be located on my Mac?

I  reinstalled Browser Guard, but the crash report cannot be attached as it's not the accepted file type.

Safari 15.5 was released for macOS Big Sur and macOS Catalina (I think it is included in macOS 12.4), along with other security updates.

Still crashes tho.

Here I am seeing it on Intel Mac.

Would it help to have a copy of the app and settings to see if it is a bug in one of them?

Not sure it is Safari, older versions of the extension did not crash, recent versions of the extension crash less than the first few that started to crash a lot.

Chromium and Webkit have 2 different extension coding requirements (On Safari the old extensions are incompatible and all had to be rewritten as Apple had some different requirements).  You can't just take an extension from the Chrome web store and use it in Safari.

@gatortail would it help to have a copy of the extension and preferences/cache of one that is crashing? (not sure why the forum will not let me remove the extra formatting (some bugs it seems make it stuck in bold and this other font))

Now to see how Malwarebytes Browser Guard version 1.1.1 does (the update only showed when I manually went to the App Store page for the extension), in a few days it would show in updates.

Still crashes, sent @gonzo  the recent crash report (some forum bug prevents me from removing the bold from the text)
