Chrome extension concerns

Recommended Posts

The thing is, I have chosen for Chrome to synchronise my settings across all devices.  I have chosen this.  This is my preference.  The information is stored in the Google Cloud.  So it is NOT an unwanted program.  But Malwarebytes is telling me that it might be.  But I have chosen to let Chrome do this.  So why doesn't Malwarebytes ask the correct question.  The correct question would be that "You have chosen to let Chrome synchronise your settings across all devices".  "If you don't want this to happen, go into your Chrome settings and adjust it" or something along these lines.  Not a bunch of uninformative gobbledygook that obviously has folk baffled.  Is that asking too much?

If you wish to surgically go through and piece by piece decide what is good or not that is your choice. It's your computer to do with as you wish. For those that don't want redirects, malware, or similar unwanted items we've simply provided instructions on how to remove unwanted items.

If you believe something is valid that is being marked for removal then please post in the False Positive forum.
