Is a quick scan enough?

Personally I don't think you need to. After you've run one to make sure the system is clean and you're using the paid Malwarebytes Premium version it has real-time protection to keep the system safe and the Quick Scan already knows and targets all known launch methods for malware.

Malware doesn't lay dormant on other areas of the disk

We can check logs if you like to see if there is anything to possibly be worried about just let us know  @WannabeSysAdminx

Or must I absolutely run a full-on system scan 1x a week?

Ofc I have the premium version and the entire real-time protection enabled

There are actually 3 ways to scan. But the recommended is the threat scan.

If you plan to use the scheduler, Set the scan time to run when the computer will be on and awake.

If you wish to do them on demand when you want to do them like I do. See the following screenshots. First I set a reminder.

Then I use the standard scan

Be sure to turn off the scheduled scans.
