Whenever I try to do it, I get a message saying the path was invalid. I even added a folder for the windows registry under "This PC," but it didn't show up when I tried to whitelist a file. Now I need to figure out how to delete that windows registry folder from my dropdown menu.

Here's one of the files I'm trying to whilelist: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Logon\{CAE19D6A-230E-4D90-B80A-206694696AFB}

I'll screenshot the message Malwarebytes gives me.

Hi,

This isn't a folder, but a registry key. In order to exclude, just perform a scan so that the registry item is detected then uncheck the checkbox next to the detection and click Next then when prompted on what to do with the remaining detection select the option to always ignore the item and it will be added to your exclusions so that it is no longer detected in future scans.
