LucB Posted January 23, 2022 ID:1498734 Share Posted January 23, 2022 Hi, longtime user here i've had issues last few days, when dowloading files : on Chrome AND Edge, it took about 5 to 15 seconds for the File Explorer windows to appear I tried all the "regular" tips to fix it : clear all data, cache, coockies, reboot, reload, etc.. I found the solution : diseable your Malwarebytes Browser Guard extension (Version 2.3.15) Could you fix the problem appeared with this new version ? I do prefer surfing the web with the full protection given by Malwarebytes, but not at the price of slowing my PC Thanks in advance Regards Luc Link to post

I would live with it for the time being or start using Firefox as it does not have the issue. 1 Link to post

I have disabled Malwarebytes Browser Guard temporarily and this corrects the problem. MBG has always worked with Chrome until just recently so I hope this can be fixed quickly.
