Hello readers,

I would like to seek your help as I have probably been scammed when purchasing a license key. I purchased a license key from the gamivo website and after activating it, I realized that I must have been scammed because I could not assign the key to my own malwarebytes account. So I thought that malwarebytes technical support could check the legitimacy of the key or its history. I would like to know where I can get help to check the legitimacy of the key or its history? I hope that if the key is suspicious malwarebytes will rub his nose in it and stop the seller's activities.

The gamivo website is not an authorized reseller of Malwarebytes.

Also bet you bought one of the "lifetime" keys. Those were discontinued for sale in 2014.

I suggest you get a refund and only purchase directly from Malwarebytes. The key you bought will end up being blacklisted and stop working sooner or later.

Keep in mind, looking for discontinued "lifetime" or too cheap to be true keys are going to be not legitimate.

This applies to most all software purchases.

Thank you for your help. If the key is illegal I would like to help locking it, is that a possibility? I suspect there are more similarly scammed people like me and this needs to be stopped somehow.

Malwarebytes can only do so much to stop the sales of bad keys. It is not an overnight process. Like i said it has been reported.

The bad sellers just go somewhere else  and start over.
