Browser guard let's youtube ads play for a few seconds

Browser guard on 2 of my computers and multiple browsers lets ads play for a few seconds before a video. it used to completely block the ads. Is this happening to anyone else?

Would not know as I also use Ublock Origin along with Browser Guard in my browsers.

For me they only play for like 1 second which isn't that bad.

I have ZERO AD's with my setup.

I watch a lot of you tube.

It's just aggravating because it used to block youtube ads instantly. I've found no way to troubleshoot that. Guess it's just youtube.

I would suggest uninstalling, restart the browser and reinstalling.

Yes, it's an ongoing skirmish/arms race with youtube. (and other advertisers but you see it most with youtube).

Ad-blockers find ways to block them, so youtube find ways around the block, so ad-blockers find a way to block that, so youtube finds ......

I have and use multiple content blockers but at this point I have zero Ads from YouTube but I do get time freezes almost for a second or two. The Ad is stopped but the time to run the script has not been stopped.

As other say, this is an ongoing cat & mouse game that will probably never be resolved completely by technology alone and we'll all have to enjoy the times where blocking works well.
