virus total false positive

It's weird that you would allow them to use your software and have no control over what they say is the result of a virus scan using your software.

 

Hopefully something can be done to prompt them to update their definitions or whatever it is they need to do to provide up to date accurate results.

 

I will email them to let them know this isn't on!

They use the command line version. The installed software has cloud components and whitelisting is done in the cloud. Virus total is having issues reaching Malwarebytes cloud to access the whitelisting.

Your software would be less likely to be detected by Malwarebytes and other vendors if the file was signed.
