Lost access to Malwarebytes

Recommended Posts

I have lost my access to the Malwarebytes program.

The icon is blank. Before it went blank I wrote my numbers down.

How can I restore the program?

This all happened after I got a red screen that said:

webmail.TWC.com     which indicated I was locked out of my Road runner email.

I am surprised that this hack got thru Malwarebytes, now I need help as no further emails are arriving on Road Runner.

Lets get a look at your computer.

Please do the following so that we may take a closer look at your installation for troubleshooting:

NOTE: The tools and the information obtained is safe and not harmful to your privacy or your computer, please allow the programs to run if blocked by your system.

  • Download the Malwarebytes Support Tool
  • In your Downloads folder, open the mb-support-x.x.x.xxx.exe file
  • In the User Account Control pop-up window, click Yes to continue the installation
  • Run the MBST Support Tool
  • In the left navigation pane of the Malwarebytes Support Tool, click Advanced
  • In the Advanced Options, click Gather Logs. A status diagram displays the tool is Getting logs from your machine
  • A zip file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to your desktop, please upload that file on your next reply

Thanks

I went to the Malwarebytes support tool and the issue was solved.

Great support and advice.

Without this support I was lost. TY!

The logs could have told us why so can keep it from happening in the future or what could have caused it in the .

But glad it seems to be working now.
