Consumer Reports 2021 Evaluation of VPN

I see the thread from 2018 regarding ratings without much explanation. Last week I reviewed an article from Consumer Reports rating the top 16 VPN's. I notice that Malwarebytes did not even reach the cut of the top 16 and wonder what the company response to this is?  Most of the article is beyond my level of knowledge on programing and security. Even with this report Consumer Reports qualifies what seems like a lot of things they could not measure. Just wondering if and how Malwarebytes might be responding to this.
