Game executable detected as false positive (Malware.Sandbox.7)

Greetings!

We've received complaints from a few of our clients that the executable file of our (RPG Maker MV) game is being detected by Malwarebytes.

We've tested it ourselves using MalwareBytes Premium and it's indeed detected as Malware.Sandbox.7.

We use source code obfuscation methods, which we believe might have triggered this. Please see attached the executable file and Malwarebytes log file.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I hope it's alright to reply to this thread due to similarity of issue. Malwarebytes falsely identified a game I have called Otter Island. Perfectly safe game from reputable platform, but coincidentally also created in RPG Maker.  I went searching for a possible answer and found this conversation.

In the future its a different file so a different topic please. 

This file has been whitelisted for months. Was the machine offline maybe when the scan occured?

It is whitelisted in the cloud so internet access to obtain the whitelist is needed.
