1PW Posted December 17, 2021 ID:1493366 Share Posted December 17, 2021 Hello @Oval85 and To begin, please do the following so that experts may take a closer look at your installation for troubleshooting: NOTE: The tools and the information obtained are safe and not harmful to your privacy or your computer, please allow the programs to run if blocked by your system. Download the Malwarebytes Support Tool. In your Downloads folder, open the mb-support-x.x.x.xxx.exe file. In the User Account Control pop-up window, click Yes to continue the installation. Run the MBST Support Tool. In the left navigation pane of the Malwarebytes Support Tool, click Advanced. In the Advanced Options, click Gather Logs. A status diagram displays the tool is Getting logs from your machine. A zip file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to your desktop, please upload that file on your next reply. Thank you. Solution Oval85 Posted December 17, 2021 Author Solution ID:1493370 Share Posted December 17, 2021 Thanks. It worked with a re-install. Could it have something to do with me changing the stock RAM and put in a new M2 SSD today? Because it happened after I turned it on again. Link to post
1PW Posted December 17, 2021 ID:1493372 Share Posted December 17, 2021 Hello @Oval85: Perhaps only a Windows system restart itself was required. Should the staffers assume it was Malwarebytes Privacy v3.10.0 that was re-installed? The previously requested MBST gathered logs file might still be of interest to the devs if you are so inclined. Thank you for the update. Link to post
Oval85 Posted December 17, 2021 Author ID:1493402 Share Posted December 17, 2021 No, reboot did not help. Re-install did. I'm sorry, I don't have time. Xmas and all coming up plus my daughter has birthday tomorrow. Link to post
