Having problems with "backdoor.bot" and "trojan.agent"

Malwarebytes seems to detect everything, but some of the infected objects need to be deleted on reboot and when i restart the machine they are still there.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi,

I see you have Windows Defender running.

The real-time protection may interfere with the fixes, that's why I want you to turn it off.

To turn real-time protection off

Open Windows Defender. (Click Start, click Programs, and then click Windows Defender.)

Click Tools, and then click General Settings.

Under Real-time protection options, Uncheck the Turn on real-time protection (recommended) check box.

Then click Save.

Then,

First of all, please update MalwareBytes, because the databaseversion is outdated.

  • Start MalwareBytes and click the Update tab. There click "Check for updates"
  • Once the updates are downloaded, perform a quick scan again.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply along with a fresh HijackThis log, then we'll proceed from there with new steps.

Extra Note:

If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove,you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts,click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer,please do so immediatly.

after running the scan with the updated program, mbam found new problems and deleted them. Now my internet seems to be working (im not being redirected to other sites). But my computer still seems slow and I feel like there is still something wrong with it. Not sure if this has anything to do with anything but I have lost the volume and network icons in the notification area of the taskbar (by the clock) and cant seem to get them back. I would like to do a full system scan to see if there are any more problems (im not on my computer right now but will be later). I will post the results of the next scan if there are anymore problems.

Try the following...

Go to start > run and copy and paste next command in the field:

regsvr32 stobject.dll

Hit enter

You should get the message: "DllRegisterServer in stobject.dll succeeded,"

click OK

Let me know if your network/volume icons reappear afterwards again.
