Unable to get my new Android phone into my premium account

Recommended Posts

I just got a new Android phone. I downloaded and installed Malwarebytes trial. Now I want to bring that within the premium account I already have for my P.C. -- I can't get it done. I've tried logging into my account on the P.C., as well as logging into the account on the phone.

Thanks for reading and for any suggestions.

The Play Store version should not require a licence key according the MWB web site topic about it.

Play Store support appointed  to MWB support for Android. They confirmed the issue last tuesday  (Ticket  364774)  asked me to sent in  data  affecting  my play store licence  for MWB. The confirmed it to be valid  and appointed it to there dedicated specialistt. No further reply so far

"thank you for providing your Google Play order number. I have checked it and its valid. Yes, you do not need a license key for Malwarebytes for Android activation using Google play subscription. Looks like there is some technical issue with Malwarebytes Premium on your smartphone and im transferring this ticket to a dedicated specialist that will contact you for this issue resolution. On behalf of Malwarebytes, I apologize for the inconvenience caused."

I got the following answer from MWB Android issue support:

My name is Rocco and I'll be assisting you further with ticket number 3654774.

We have released a beta update that includes a fix for Google Play activation issues. I have provided the steps below to install the beta update if needed.

1. Go to Google Play and search for the Malwarebytes Security application or follow the link from your device  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.malwarebytes.antimalware

2. Scroll down the page until you see the "Join the beta" section. Tap the "Join" button

3. You will see the "Joining beta.." message. It may take several minutes up to an hour to join the beta program.

4. Once Google Play adds you to the Beta program you will see the message "You're a beta tester..." message on the top, updated "What's new section" for the beta release and "Install" button

5. Install the application.

6. Afterward you can go back and leave the beta.

Let us know if that resolves your issue or if you require further assistance.
