MalwareBytes Nebula - Self Starting Scan's Stop Working

On occasional when right clicking a file and clicking 'Scan with MalwareBytes' nothing happens. Also if the user goes to the System Tray and right clicks the MalwareBytes icon, 'Start Threat Scan' will be greyed out. A reboot of the computer fixes it each time. However I am not sure what causes this problem or how to address it. 

Also when the user clicks 'Scan with MalwareBytes' the scan is registered in the MalwareBytes Cloud Admin Console.
