Hello @TheThornWithin

Thank you for the feedback. I can understand your frustration to change but let's please try to remain civil and courteous.

Here are links on setting up Scheduled Scans or Creating Custom Scans

If you wish to do a Full Scan - below are some instructions on how to achieve that.

Please do the following.

  • Open Malwarebytes and click the cross-hair just above the word Scanner
  • Then near the bottom click the Advanced scanners link
  • Then under Custom Scan click on the Configure Scan button
  • Enable scan for rootkits
  • Place a checkmark on your C: volume hard drive and click the Scan button

This scan will take a long while to run but once completed please go to Reports and export the log to text or clipboard to review or post.

Visually

Please open Malwarebytes and click on the cross-hair just above the word Scanner

Then click Advanced scanners

Then click the Configure Scan button

Enable all checked items as shown and select your C: drive and click the Scan button

Allow Malwarebytes to remove anything it finds and post back the log once completed if you do need help.

Thank you again and I do hope the above information helps you understand and use the program better

Cheers

  • 2 weeks later...

Any idiot can run a scan with this cheap-looking, austere UI, and that's why you removed the dashboard - to simplify the program for the myriad imbeciles that are incapable of walking and chewing bubblegum at the same time and who were swamping tech support with their issues.

The change does NOTHING to improve Malwarebytes Premium.

NOTHING.

Shame on everyone involved with this abomination.

Please try to remain civil. There is no need for name calling. I'm trying to understand your issue or concern as the current dashboard has been in place now since 2019. Just curious why the feedback now and not previously.

Here is the dashboard for the most current version as of today

As you can see the dashboard has not change significantly for a long time now as the screenshot below is from 2019 version.

Malwarebytes for Windows 4.0 released on November 4, 2019

The 3.x version had a little different dashboard but the 3.x version was from 2019 as well and ended as we updated to the 4.x version.

Malwarebytes for Windows 3.8.3 released on June 27, 2019

Thank you again
