But it turns out my laptop couldn't handle Windows 10 because it's an old machine, like seven years old machine, so it tends to shut down for every 20 minutes or so. I already took it to the official service center and since it is an old type, they can't help me anymore and I have to go to the "unofficial" service center if I want to downgrade it. Please don't judge, it's just how it is in my country. I need help to installing Windows 7 back on my laptop, and hopefully, getting my previous data as well, I vaguely remember I made a System Restore/Recovery Point? I just don't know how to do it. And yes, I know they already stopped the support for Windows 7, but I would rather have a fully functioning laptop with little to no support than Windows 10 laptop that always dead for every 20 minutes Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted November 10, 2021 Root Admin ID:1487693 Share Posted November 10, 2021 Well, unless you have a full backup of your previous system it looks like you're stuck on Windows 10 without doing a lot of work. Meaning you'd need to backup all your current data and programs to another external USB drive. Then format the drive and install Windows 7 from scratch and reinstall all software.
