Hello.

I downloaded the free version for Mac and ran it once because it was supposed to help fix an error on another piece of software (didn't help). I tried deleting the app. However, RTProtection was still using about 50% of a CPU, and I couldn't kill it. After Googling, I found out that I needed to say "Stop [something]" to turn it off. I reinstalled MalwareBytes, turned that [something] off, and thought RTProtection disappeared. However, I still sometimes see it using about 0.2% of a CPU. I know it's not much, but I want it completely gone.

How do I completely remove RTProtection?

And frankly, deleting the app should delete all things that came with the app. It's pretty bad that it doesn't, and that it's extremely difficult to figure out how to delete it all.

Just happened to read the pin on how to properly uninstall it. I did that and it seems to be working. I feel dumb for not seeing that earlier, but it should be more prominently posted somewhere. Googling "delete RTProtection" didn't lead me anywhere useful.

Also, no edit button? Or maybe I'm just stupid and can't find it again.
