Possible False Positive

Good day,

I recently downloaded a program to be used with a video game, however I have been receiving alerts from Microsoft's Windows Defender regarding possible virus as well as a clearer report from Malwarebytes scans.

I am having a difficult time deciding if the program is simply coming up with false positives, as this is a cheat engine for a single player game so it may be detecting the unusual nature of the program, or perhaps there are actual viral threats being detected.

At this time, I have not yet ran the .exe file nor do I intend to until I receive further information regarding this issue. If this is the incorrect area to ask these questions, I apologize and I ask that I might be directed towards the correct area.

Any gametrainer we classify as riskware because of its patching nature. If you trust these you can set them to ignore.
